By embedding the skills for life support into the vocational training available to young and vulnerable people we are achieving a number of important things
- New resources and course materials available
- Vocational teachers recognise and can support literacy and numeracy needs without the need for specialist skills for life staff - thus reducing the cost of delivery
- Skills for Life tutors gain a range of vocational skills which they can use in their teaching in the future
- Additional support for emerging diplomas is being developed
- Barriers to learning are reduced as support is offered in class
A wide range of information and resources are available from the embedded learning portal
