COMMUNITY EVENTS
Fakenham Learning Community (FLC) helps to organise many community events such as Fun Days and Taster sessions with Fakenham Area Partnership, the Chamber or Trade & Commerce, Natural Fakenham, Adult Education and local groups and organisations. The biggest community event of the year, held during Adult Learners Week in May, is:

FREE entry into Pensthorpe Nature Reserve.
Over 40 local groups including RSPB, Norfolk Wildlife Trust and RSPCA.
Environmental awareness activities, walks and talks for all the family.

TRAINING
In liaison with the North Norfolk Skills Partnership and other providers, the FLC promotes & hosts short courses such as:
Food hygiene and Safety, First Aid, Parenting Support and Skills for Life
FAKENHAM HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE (FHS&C):
The FLC supports FHS&C's Technology Specialist Status and Extended Activities and Services, offering access, information, advice and guidance. It also promotes their new Training Centre, which has a wonderful IT suite & open plan facilities for construction & DIY style training.
