Community Learning Mentors

Community Learning Mentors
Do you have clients who want to:
- get back into learning but are not sure where to start?
- gain new skills but need help finding what's right for them?
- get some qualifications?
- learn to do something new?
- make a positive move towards a new or better job?
Could the Community Learning Mentors help?
We work across Norwich helping local people find a way back into learning that best suits them. It's free and available to all adults, either as individuals or as an already established group.
After a meeting with a mentor, clients will have a short and realistic plan of action that meets their needs and will help them to help you achieve their goals.
It may be:
- A short course in the community
- Improving confidence
- Gaining a formal qualification
- A chance to gain new skills with some voluntary work
- Support to overcome barriers to learning or work
- Help to find a local course that's right for them
People can move along at their own pace and the mentors can offer support along the way.
