Community Learning Mentors

Do you have clients who want to:

  • get back into learning but are not sure where to start?
  • gain new skills but need help finding what's right for them?
  • get some qualifications?
  • learn to do something new?
  • make a positive move towards a new or better job?

Could the Community Learning Mentors help?

We work across Norwich helping local people find a way back into learning that best suits them. It's free and available to all adults, either as individuals or as an already established group.

After a meeting with a mentor, clients will have a short and realistic plan of action that meets their needs and will help them to help you achieve their goals.

It may be:

  • A short course in the community
  • Improving confidence
  • Gaining a formal qualification
  • A chance to gain new skills with some voluntary work
  • Support to overcome barriers to learning or work
  • Help to find a local course that's right for them

People can move along at their own pace and the mentors can offer support along the way.
