Beginners English

Beginners' English is an entry level course aimed at complete beginners, often women with small children (crèche facilities are available) who need English for everyday life in Great Yarmouth; to access services, shopping, health and communication. This course has had the advantage of language support by a Portuguese mother, as the majority of attendees are Portuguese. Some of the work took place out and about in the town: shopping in the market and reading signs and symbols.
