The staff have, a combined, 25 years of experience of delivering community based learning throughout Norfolk. They have worked with many different learners/groups with varying levels of ability.  Below is just a short list of client categories that we have delivered programs to.

Mike Hitchins

Responsible for Painting and Decorating courses

 Mike has a wealth of tutoring experience, with over 20 years of deliverying quality programs to the people of Norfolk. He is responsible for ensuring that you are completely prepared to sit your CSCS card test, for bringing you up to speed on current health and safety in the work place and those all important employability skills. Mike is also a qualified careers adviser, so he can help learners understand the the job market, prepare a CV, write quality applications as well as encouraging you along the way to finding your ideal job.

 

 Doug Hunt

Responsible for Painting and Decorating courses

Doug comes from the construction industry. He was a self employed painter and decorator/plasterer for many years, so he understands what it takes to work on construction sites and has extensive knowledge of working for private clients also. He is a versatile tutor, having delivered many accredited and non/accredited Painting and decorating, mural painting, IT, cookery, gardening and creative writing programs for/to a wide range of organisations such as, Norfolk Learning Partnership, Adult Education, Move On East, Include, Development etc. the ESF Platform and Norfolk Probation Service.

Doug is also a qualified careers adviser and will be on hand to help learners with valuable information and advice about getting into work or setting up as a self employed trades person.

 Evie - The Painting & Decorating Client Liason Officer 

Evie is Mike's trusty companion and is our customer liason officer. There is no learner or organisation employee that can escape her natural charm. She is a calming influence onsite and is always on hand to run off any unwanted visitors (mainly cats) if necessary. Evie is an integral part of the team and is always dressed appropriatly to work on site.
