Case Study ESOL Support
ESOL
Charmaine
Charmaine was referred to the ESOL support through another IiC programme - Community Learning Mentors. After accessing dyslexia help through Indigo, she went on to attain Level 1 Certificate in Adult Literacy. (Despite a break in the learning to have a baby!). She has gone on to complete ‘Is Enterprise for Me?' training and has just started the ‘Business Skills' class provided by WEETU. She is well on her way to self employment by the end of the year.
Juan
Juan attended the Working in Britain training provided for a group of Portuguese employees. He developed sufficient confidence to offer his services as a voluntary language support worker at Bernard Matthews.
